First and foremost it's an angry reaction to the removal of the signs on the bypass in November 2008. You can read all about that in the post "Where Did The Signs Go?".
We would appreciate it if visitors would add a comment to that post doing one or more of the following:
- Adding to the protest at the removal of the signs
- Suggesting how we might get them reinstated
- Explaining why the signs were a bad idea (we are happy to receive criticism if well reasoned)
- Any other suggestions for helping Bromyard's businesses through these difficult times
We would really like to hear also from those fellow townsfolk whose complaints got the signs torn down. Surely they must have some great ideas to share with us?
As the signs story calms down we want to see this blog as a forum with two main aims. Firstly to invite debate on how to help the town's businesses and secondly to share information on the various initiatives being undertaken.
Bromyard is a fantastic place to live with lots of wonderful people. Let's not allow it to lose its heart by neglecting our High Street and the traders who make it the great experience it is.
