The only way to survive in this hard old world of ours is to promote yourself, and that is what we badly need to do in Bromyard. That doesn't mean abandoning our old and cherished values, but it does mean adapting and keeping up with the times. What good is it removing a sign from the by-pass, if the shops are either empty of customers, or worse still no longer there? We should put those signs back now, and say to whoever gave rise to their removal either to do something positive towards getting Bromyard back on the map, or move away.

Bureaucracy -- and lies! A promise is a promise -- why should the faceless ones be allowed to get away with deceit while the town suffers? While they were there on the bypass, the original signs proved their worth. Does Herefordshire support its communities, or just take their money? I challenge Bromyard Council to stand up to this nonsense -- action please, Councillors, not dithering and excuses.
